The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers
Over one inspiring weekend, September 6-7, 2014, thousands will gather to walk the epic 2-Day or 1-Day distance, united by their desire to fight women’s cancers. Funds raised support the critical work of The Campbell Family Institute at the Princess Margaret and their efforts to end breast and gynaecologic cancers in our lifetime. One in seven Canadian women will be diagnosed with one of these cancers in her lifetime. Last year, 3,639 participants raised an incredible $8 million.

The Ride to Conquer Cancer
During one incredible weekend, June 7-8, 2014, thousands of men and women will rally in Toronto and Niagara Falls to cycle over 200km or 200 miles with a united goal of conquering cancer in our lifetime. It will be the seventh annual Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer in Toronto benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.  The money raised will support breakthrough research and discovery of new cancer therapies. Last year 5,020  participants raised $19.1 million.

Tour for Kids
This annual summer cycling adventure will take place in August. Participants cycle in beautiful Ontario, travelling 100 to 200km per day in 2 or 4-Day events. Tour for Kids raises funds for children’s cancer camps and family support programs, and remains the premier cycling event in support of children living with cancer.  Last year in Ontario, over 500 cyclists raised  $1.3 million.

Wellspring Halton-Peel
Wellspring Halton-Peel was established to meet the needs of people coping with cancer in Oakville, Mississauga and surrounding communities. The centre welcomes more than 13,000 visits from men, women and children annually. Wellspring offers a wide range of cancer support programs and services, and funds raised through Ladies Out Laughing 2014 will support their Exercise program.
