This year, on September 10th, 2016, thousands will walk 25 kms through the streets of Toronto, united, knowing that together they are changing the future for all those affected by this terrible disease. Funds raised support the critical work of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and their efforts to end cancer in our lifetime. Itís OneWalk, on one day, for all cancers. Last year 4,523 participants raised over $7.5 million.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer
During one incredible weekend, June 11-12, 2016, thousands of men and women will rally in Toronto and Niagara Falls to cycle 200+ kilometers with a united goal of conquering cancer in our lifetime. It will be the ninth annual Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer in Toronto benefiting the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world. Last year 4,853 participants raised over $19 million.
Tour for Kids
10,000 children are living with cancer today. Tour for Kids is a 3 day cycling adventure that raises necessary funds for kids cancer camps in Ontario; Camp Ooch, Camp Quality and Camp Trillium. 100% of your receipted donations goes to supporting these camps, allowing kids to be kids for a couple weeks every year. Between Aug 12th and 14th, 400 cyclists will ride between 50km and 200km daily, together we can make a meaningful, immediate and lasting difference in the lives of kids with cancer today. www.TourforKids.com/Ontario
Wellspring Halton-Peel was established to meet the needs of people coping with cancer in Oakville, Mississauga and surrounding communities. The centre welcomes more than 13,000 visits from men, women and children annually. Wellspring offers a wide range of cancer support programs and services, and funds raised through Ladies Out Laughing 2016 will support these programs.
